How do you calculate Board Feet?
A Board Foot is the equivalent to 1" thick x 12" wide x 12" long.
Example: A board 1.5" x 6" x 4'
Convert all fractions to decimals and all numbers to inches.
Multiply the three numbers and divide by 144
1.5 x 6 x 48
